Welcome to Beacon Freight Quality Partnership

Providing a forum between freight users, government agencies and the community in the Great Brickhill, Wing and Ivinghoe area within Buckinghamshire.

Our vision is to encourage best practice for environmentally sensitive, economic, safe and efficient freight transport in our area.

The aims and objectives of Beacon FQP are to work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to direct heavy goods traffic to roads of most suitable use and to ensure that Buckinghamshire's roads provide freight operators with the most efficient and user friendly routes through the county.

Beacon FQP believe that if the objective can be achieved, the outcome of the work undertaken by and on behalf of the group will enable the County to get traffic flowing in a way that benefits the economy, the environment and the local community.

On 10 January 2012, some members of the FQP met with senior directors of the Arla group at the Aylesbury Gateway. We discussed a range of issues surrounding the impact of the new Arla processing site at Aston Clinton. We are pleased to announce that Arla have agreed to become the latest member of our Freight Quality Partnership and we very much look forward to working together going forward.
